Pinky's Hot Box - Torrance
Permanently Closed
To All Our Valued Guests and Friends
It is with great sadness that we announce the closing of Pinky’s Hot Box at 24416 Crenshaw Blvd. Last day of service was on Wednesday, October 26. Due to inflation costs on food, supplies, labor, and rent, we are not able to sustain our small business both during and after the pandemic in the city of Torrance. We want to thank all of our wonderful guests and employees for supporting us over the years. What began as a little 40 seat restaurant in a small plaza off Crenshaw Blvd. grew into a neighborhood staple that had welcomed thousands of guests and gave job opportunities to young adults. We are extremely humbled that so many embraced our restaurant and that we were able to succeed as long as we had.
But not all is lost because we are RELOCATING Pinky’s Hot Box to SteelCraft in the city of Bellflower. SteelCraft’s concept is great: “Born of a desire to see people come together over food and drinks, SteelCraft unites local eateries with a communal dining space. Whether you come for the food, the drinks, or the people, there's a place for you at the SteelCraft table.” We are so excited to be partnering up with the SteelCraft team.
We reopen at our new location at 4pm on Tuesday, November 1st and fully open for business during regular business hours thereafter. Our official launch party is on Saturday, November 5th at 11am and we have live music playing throughout the entire day. We really hope you continue to visit us and celebrate this new chapter.
Thank you to all those who have supported us in Torrance and so many thanks to our Pinky’s Hot Box family.
See y'all in Bellflower!
Love,
Pinky
