I keep hearing the same thing when talking to people about Bellevue…

And after digging into the history, I can see why this little Lincoln Avenue restaurant has such a loyal following. 🥘

Joe’s Rusty Nail has been serving up old-school American comfort food, huge portions, breakfast, sandwiches, daily specials and homemade-style meals for years.

And get this…

The name supposedly came from a rusty spike Joe found in the wall when he took over the restaurant. 🔨😂

This is the kind of place that feels like it belongs to the neighborhood — not some polished chain, but a small, cozy restaurant where people know the food, know the staff and keep coming back.

People rave about the French toast, Reubens, burgers, meatloaf, roast beef and those big breakfasts. And “huge portions” comes up over and over again. 👀
