Three new origins hitting our shelves.

*Gihanga*
This light/medium roast is swapping in for Lalibela as we wait for this years Ethiopian harvest to land. Gihanga is an Uganda coffee bursting with raspberry and black tea notes. A perfect end of summer coffee.

*Bhumi*
This medium/dark roast is our newest special release. A peaberry from India that boasts smooth traditional notes of to***co and cedar with a wonderful earthy body.

*Nahualli*
This organic decaf hails from southern Mexico. It swapped in for Acuri and is almost identical in tasting notes. A well rounded medium roast that’s perfect for those days when you don’t need any extra caffeine.

All three are available online and in our cafe now!

Pushing First Fridays back a week again this month!

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, Jon from Trak Records has to postpone this week and will be at LongStory next Friday (August 14th) from 4:00pm-6:00pm.

That just means more time to get this on your schedule and swing by ✌️ Thanks for your understanding.

TLDR: No Fair St. Clair parking in our lot, customer parking only. Violators will be towed at THEIR expense.

The Fair is going on the weekend from Thursday-Sunday. There will be no parking at the fairgrounds and visitors will have to find public parking. We are not a public parking lot. Our parking lot may seem big and open, but we need every bit of it for our weekend traffic, especially with the event going on. If you plan on stopping by the cafe this weekend, please don’t try to leave your car in our lot. Events like this are huge for small businesses and we don’t want to have to be checking our cameras and calling tow trucks to grab cars left here. Thanks for your understanding and we hope to see you this weekend!

We recently ran out of our year round Switchgrass Spirits aged Colombian coffee. Don’t worry though, the next batch is aging and on its way. Back in stock late July.

Curious as to what we’re doing? We rotate the barrel every day while it ages to mix the coffee inside and let every wall of the barrel touch the beans. It makes for an even infusion, as well as a smoother and more consistent coffee.

New menu, same drinks!
Just wanted to give a shout out to our brand designers Hailey and Celine (Fruit Punch Collective). I tasked them with redesigning our menu to better match our branded cups and bags and they KILLED it. Check the last page if you forgot what our old menus looked like.

PS: July house syrup will be ready soon. Our syrup maker was on vacation for the 4th!

Hey All!
Tomorrow, Tuesday July 7th we will be closed. I’m updating our water filtration system to improve the quality of our coffee even more, as well as doing other minor repairs needed around the cafe. We will be back open Wednesday, July 8th at 7:00am!
