Huge news!

Ethan and Makayla got engaged HERE yesterday! 💍

With every ending comes a new beginning, and we can’t think of a more beautiful way to close this chapter than by celebrating the expansion of our family.

Ethan and Makayla are here today, so come in to hear about their proposal and celebrate them as you enjoy your very last meal at The Country Belle Café.

Our granddaughter CG is here too and helping us send this place off with so much love.

We open at 11 and will be serving our delicious food until we run out.

Today is an emotional day. It’s the last time we’ll ever open these doors, and we’re feeling it all… gratitude, love, sadness, and joy. More than anything, we are so thankful for every single person who has been part of this journey with us.

Come share a meal, a hug, a memory, and be part of this ending that we will carry in our hearts forever.

We hope you’ll be part of our closing day at the café.

It’s here. This is officially the last weekend we will EVER be open.

That is tough to say and even harder to believe. This café has been our dream, our home, and our heart for so many years. We’ve poured everything into it, and we have loved cooking for you, serving you, and getting to know you through every cup of Greek coffee and iced tea, every meal, and every conversation.

If you love The Country Belle Café as much as we do, please come enjoy our last Friday here together.

We will NOT be open tomorrow (Saturday). Our daughter is coming to help us pack and prep for the final goodbye.

But… our granddaughter convinced us to open for one last day on Sunday so she could waitress here one more time. She didn’t have to twist our arms too hard. Her Papa and WeWe are honored to have her be part of our final day. To have three generations in this space we’ve loved so much feels like the perfect way to close this chapter.

One more time, here’s the plan:
• We’re open today (Friday) until 9pm
• Closed Saturday
• Open Sunday at 11am for our last hurrah

Thank you for the outpouring of love and support. You’ve filled our hearts in ways we’ll never forget.

Today in addition to our regular menu we have lamb chops and veggie gyro for specials. And of course Gene’s famous baklava for dessert.

Even if we saw you last weekend, we hope you’ll come back for one last bite and one more goodbye.

Last chance to experience the magic of The Country Belle Café.

We’re open:
Tonight until 8
Friday 11–9
CLOSED Saturday to prep and pack
OPEN Sunday for our very last shift starting at 11am and staying open as long as it takes to wrap it all up.

We’re going to miss this place and miss you!! So please come in and see us!

We still can’t believe the love we felt this weekend. Saturday was one of the busiest days we’ve ever had at The Country Belle Café. So many of you came through our doors to show your support, share memories, and give us the most beautiful sendoff.

Because of the turnout, we ran out of food and couldn’t open yesterday. We are so sorry if you were hoping to come in. We’re taking the next few days to restock and prepare for the final stretch.

We’ll be open Thursday and Friday as planned. But we have a little surprise.

Our 8 year old granddaughter CG is coming to town to help us pack up, and she asked if she could waitress while she’s here. So we’ve decided to open up one final time on Sunday, August 24 for a special last day. It will be filled with the best Greek food in Missouri, lots of hugs, and probably a few tears too.

We’ll be closed on Saturday to pack, prepare the kitchen so we can go out with a bang on Sunday!!! We truly hope to see you again before we close our doors for good.

Final schedule:
Thursday: 4 to 9
Friday: 11 to 9
Saturday: closed
Sunday (Final Day): 11 to 7

Thank you again for showing up for us. We’ll never forget it.

We are completely overwhelmed, in the best way.

Yesterday was one of the busiest days we’ve ever had at The Country Belle Café. So many of you showed up to support us, to hug us, to share memories, and to say goodbye. We are still blown away.

We didn’t expect that kind of turnout… and because of it, we have officially run out of food.

As much as we’d love to open our doors today, we need a few days to restock and prepare.

We’ll be open again this Thursday and Friday!!!

Thank you for showing us so much love. Thank you for showing up.

We’ll never forget it.
