If you didn’t catch the past posts, we created and donated this cake in collaboration with Icing Smiles, Inc. In this instance, we created a “Dream Cake” for an amazingly strongly little girl who is completely a round of treatment for a rare form of brain cancer.

Remember when unicorn cakes were absolutely everywhere? 🦄✨

A few years ago, it felt like we were making them every week. These days, we don’t see them nearly as often, which honestly made this one a fun little trip down memory lane.

Some cake trends come and go, but colorful buttercream, a golden horn, and a little sparkle still make for a pretty magical celebration 💜

Today, it was picked up for a mighty little girl celebrating the end of 30 long rounds of treatment.

You’d think after spending hours making cookies look pretty, we’d spend a few more minutes photographing them.

Instead, half the time we end up placing them on a plain white background, taking a quick picture, and hoping everyone trusts us when we say, “They looked way better in person.” 😅
