ARE YOU A MORNING PERSON??

A few of our team members are returning to school. We’re looking for friendly, dependable, and customer focused Baristas to join our team! The ideal candidates enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude, and take pride in providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

● Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to company standards
● Provide friendly and efficient customer service
● Take orders and accurately process payments
● Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace
● Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties
● Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
● Work effectively as part of a team

Qualifications

● Previous barista or customer service experience preferred, but not required
● Reliable and punctual
● Friendly, energetic, and professional
● Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
● Strong communication and teamwork skills
● Willingness to learn and grow

Schedule: Part Time/Full Time - some weekends

Good Monday morning!! I hope you all have been having the best summer! I want to give you an update on a few things. First of all, THANK YOU for once again voting for us as BEST COFFEE SHOP and BEST BREAKFAST SPOT in the Charlevoix & Chain of Lakes Region. We are so grateful for the support from everyone. We have you to thank for our success over the years & our ongoing success. So many great things to come!

Our transition to new ownership is going very smoothly and quite honestly, I sometimes forget that I no longer own the place 😂. It’s been great having Rob & Greg to rely on. You may have met Greg’s daughters, Claire & Alison at some point this summer; they’ve been a great addition to our team. As usual, our M88 team is strong, dependable, service oriented & super fun! At some point this month I’ll manage to get a picture that includes all, or most of our dream team.

I’ve gotten the question many times recently & the answer is YES, we will still be serving lunch. At this time we have our usual amazing chicken salad, & our three cheese grilled cheese, or ham & cheese. Sometime in September (exact date TBD) we will bring back our soups & a more extensive lunch menu. We are making some changes that will allow us to increase our offerings. Stay tuned!

YES, we still support our Heroes, our Veterans & continue offering free coffee & donuts on the third Wednesday of every month. If you are a Veteran & you are in the area please join our COFFEE TALKS - We’d love to have you!

Hello, friends! Many of you have asked how the transition is going with new ownership & myself moving into a management role. It’s been very smooth with the exception of a few technical issues, which we’ve almost resolved. We do have a new phone number, and we have updated all the necessary platforms. OUR NEW NUMBER IS 231-350-7033. Hopefully this will resolve the phone issues we’ve had. Thank you all for remaining patient while we work out the kinks!
