One week from today!! Learn Pysanky — etching and dyeing techniques!

Bea is teaching the technique called “etching” in which you will selectively dissolve thin layers of the eggshell with vinegar to create a more subtle color variation. Don’t worry, you’ll learn the regular dyeing techniques too. This full day (10-2) class includes lunch from us, supplies that you’ll take home with you, and one-on-one instruction in this fascinating technique. Not a food stylist but our Pastrami limited edition sandwich just naturally looks amazing. Try it while you can — The Charm Farm pastrami, provolone, fresh cabbage slaw, pickles, and homegrown horseradish mustard.

A complicated day demands a simple breakfast. Bread, protein, cheese, vegetable. Top notch ingredients come together to make a sandwich that really doesn’t need the amplification of sauces, spreads, and spices. It’s just good As Is — the first time you eat one, and the fifth, and the fiftieth.

The short attention span culture we are living in currently makes us feel like we always need to be coming up with something new & different — that we need to keep up with the times, chase the latest fad flavors or diets. You know, just so there’s something to talk about on the socials I guess? Flavor-maxxing for content creation to drive engagement & sales? We’ll settle for repeating ourselves because we believe that these simple, real foods are worth eating, again and again, and that they truly provide what we need to thrive, in a space that nurtures community, and in a place that is worth investing in.
