We had a very, very busy pantry today and I am so glad we were able to help so many people. What doesn’t make me feel good is that someone cleaned out the jar that sits on the desk. We are feeding you freely and with no expectations. Why would anyone feel like it is ok to steal from the very pantry that is helping you put food on your table? Sad thing is, had you asked, I would have freely given. We feel violated and very hurt that someone did this. I guess it’s time to turn the cameras on… so sad. I hope whoever did this knows you have hurt many people.

No Greater Love Food Pantry would like to give a huge Thank You to Midcoast Charities for their generous grant they awarded to us this year. This grant will benefit our mission to help with food insecurity in our area. Also many thanks to The Samoset Resort for hosting the event again this year. It was picture perfect, great food and the humorist was funny and very entertaining.

No Greater Love food pantry is having a benefit yard sale on June 6th. A resident of Cedar Street has graciously allowed us to set up on their property. We will be at 150 Cedar/ the corner of Cedar and Durham. The home owner will be on the cedar street side and the pantry will be on the Durham street side. Pay what you think it’s worth (other than clothes which will be $5 a bag) sizes and goodies for everyone. Household goods, books, clothing and whatever else we can find. I hear there has been a massive house clean out. We will have hot dogs on the grill cooking! Donations accepted by calling Tanya at 207-299-2093 or Mary at 207-323-0761. We would like to split the proceeds with the fire victims from Robbins Lumber Mill Fire. 8-2. 6/6/2026
