*UPDATED: We will reopen at the Port Orchard Lowe's on June 12th and 13th from 11a-6p (weather-permitting).

*UPDATED: We will be opening for the first time, inside the Controlled Industrial Area, at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, on Monday, June 15th, and Tuesday, June 16th!!! On those two days, we will be vending at B 857 from 10:00 to 12:30, and at B 1124 from around 3:30 to 8p. We will be at PSNS on Mondays and Tuesdays, and will post what buildings we will be at, so you'll know where to find us!😉

This is the famous CORNDOG BOB!
Bob is excited, not just for the footlong corndog, but because:
*CAPTAIN CORNDOG'S IS COMING TO HIS WORKPLACE AT PUGET SOUND NAVAL SHIPYARD, INSIDE THE CONTROLLED INDUSTRIAL AREA, STARTING JUNE 8th!
*We will be vending on Mondays and Tuesdays, on a rotational basis, between Bldgs. 457, 495, and 455. Service times are: 10:00am to 12:30pm. Each new PSNS food truck will spend 2 weeks at each site, and then rotate.
*Captain Corndog's will also be available Mondays and Tuesdays at Bldg. 1124, from at least 4:00pm to 8:30pm, for backshift!😘

Looking at sales data, it's official...
The "Captain Honey-Crunch Corndog" is the most popular corndog. Some days it's the Carnival Corndog, some days it's the regular Captain Corndog, but consistently- it's this sweet & salty, crunchy beauty:

*If someone tries to shut your corndoggin' down by complaining to the Health Department (LOL, the ones you've got a permit through), that's not always a bad thing. When they come out to inspect and see that things are clean, organized, and you're 100% in compliance, you get cool smiley face rating!!! I know it's a shed-on-wheels, lol, but I'm up to code, and permitted in multiple counties. 😘

For those of you who haven't seen it before, this is the 'Captain-n-Cheese' Corndog. It's a 9" All-Beef Captain Corndog, dusted with pure cheddar cheese powder, resembling a crunchy cheese puff with a hotdog inside- perfect for the 'hotdogs in my mac-n-cheese' lover. ( $13 )
When you come down and see that the guy making your corndog is covered with this yellow-orange dust, it's because of these things. They're delicious though. It's worth the sacrifice. Guilty pleasure: I like my Captain-n-Cheese with a little ketchup on the side, like I do with my hotdog mac. Its good plain, but there's no shame in having a little sauce once in a while too... it's a corndog!

Our primary location is at the LOWE'S HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE in *PORT ORCHARD*!!! We will be there Friays and Saturdays, going forward (weather-permitting)!!!

We have canceled the NEX shipyard contract, and will now be vending exclusively at PSNS on Mondays and Tuesdays, starting June 1st.

Fridays and Saturdays we will be parked at the site below, at the Sedgewick Store...

For those of you who don't know about our corndogs, we have some different varieties...
*If you just love a classic, smooth, carnival-style, get our 'Carnival Corndog;' the kid-sized 6" is $6 and the large 9" is $11.
*For those of you who know you'll love the enhanced texture and crunch of panko, more of a crunchy-cornbread feel, I definitely recommend the 'Captain Corndog' varieties- 9" long, $12 and up.

Had a number of folks say they wanted the chili-dogs. I had hot dogs on the menu when I first started this, but folks seem to mainly want corndogs at Captain Corndog's (imagine that); so I took them off the menu. I will likely have them available when I reopen, as a feasibility. If they don't sell, they will just be available at the Shipyards.

We've got the 12" 1/3lb all-beef hot dogs on a 10" Franz bun ($10), topped with Garlic Chili and Jalapeno-Cheddar Cheese Sauce(+$2). There is also a condiment bar with fresh onions, dill and sweet relish, and pickled peppers.
