After a year and a half off of competitions, Smokin Roses blew into St Hedwig and Jim took away enough points to get Reserve Grand Champion! 1st place chicken, 14 th place ribs, 1st place pork and 7 th place brisket. We also collected $600 in donations, in spite of the weather, to give to the FFA kids! Congratulations to Jim Fly on his GC! Thank you Terri Lemasters Murphy and Thomas Murphy for all your help again this year! It takes a village when you are shaking off the where you came from “rust” in our case! Thank you Anthony De La O and Victoria for the tent spikes and laughs on Saturday night! Thank you Tim Milligan and Jackie Milligan for being great neighbors when the rain came in and my “kids “ Nick Christy John Speed Doug Plate and tag the rest of your crew especially the girls!!! Thank you Alton Paris and Jocelyn McCracken Paris and Kathy Pullin fir coming by and sharing the bbq ❤️! Last and definitely not least thank you to our Meat Hustler, Andy Lugo for a kick ass brisket! Congratulations to everyone that gave up their tickets! Man we had a good time!!!!

EAST CENTRAL PEEPS!! Its that time of year again! The PWC Annual BBQ Cook Off benefiting the EC FFA will be September 21 & 22. This year we will be in St Hedwig instead of Lone Oak. Come out and be a taste judge and stop by the Smokin Roses tent and make a donation to the kids!!! See everyone in a couple of weeks! We raised over $1000 previously and our goal is to BEAT that!!!
