To my dearest customers: unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I have left Rascals and it is now closed. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your phenomenal support and warm welcome to the community. We shall miss you all. Blessings,

What a beautiful day on Beech! Join us for lunch on our patio with your furry friend and soak up the sunshine with an ice cold NC draft beer on tap along with one of our Wagyu beef burgers. If you're looking for a taste of NC on one plate, how's a fresh flounder filet, crab cake, and shrimp either grilled or blackened...all fresh from the coast, NC at it's best, for dinner...of course it wouldn't be complete with a Meyer's Lemon and Basil Martini. No need to head to the coast or leave the mountain...we've got you covered. Come in out of the rain...no need to fire up the grill: stop in and pull up to the table for a 1/2 rack of our grilled baby back ribs with our mildly spicy Cheerwine BBQ sauce, green apple and cabbage slaw, Homewrecker baked beans, and corn bread, or pick it up tomorrow for the Take Home Special of a full rack of ribs, 1 quart of slaw, 1 quart of homewrecker baked beans, cornbread and your choice of 2 desserts. We are needing to add to our team: looking for a part time bartender and hostess...top wages are just the start:come out a couple of nights a week and meet your neighbors, and be an ambassador for our visitors. I've said it before, and with a day like today, it needs repeating :"If you're lucky to live on Beech Mountain, you're lucky enough"...I don't think you could ask for a more perfect day! Get out there and enjoy! And when you're tuckered out, stop in for our Fish & Chips Friday: fresh NC Flounder and your choice of our house made chips or shoestring fries, and green apple and cabbage slaw...pair it with our Blackberry Bear Margarita and plan tomorrow's day. Reservations strongly suggested: please forgive us...like everyone in almost all industries, we are experiencing an extreme labor shortage: we may not be able to accommodate walk-in traffic, or your exact preferred time reservation. We are fully staffed in the kitchen, and take out is an option. We want everyone who chooses to dine with us to have the best in food and service...I won't however, compromise service if we are unable to provide it every time. Thanks for understanding. The day on Beech Mountain is starting out fine...end the day even better by enjoying our dinner special featuring the best of the NC coast: fresh flounder stuffed with our lump blue crab cake and finished with hollandaise sauce, and grilled or blackened shrimp...all on one plate, all from NC, all for you to enjoy.
