Good afternoon friends! Today we move into a season of transition as some of our great friends from Charleston take over ownership of our little cafe. We are so excited for this change and our common love of community. The cafe will be open regular hours and maintain the current staff so keep coming by to see the girls and meet Mr. Craig!
A word from Frank and Cindy:
From the day we purchased Crossroads six years ago, Frank has always said that the Café has its own “heartbeat.” Friends, the heartbeat is you! Joining us every day for food, stories, laughter and sometimes tears. But through it all we share together a bond to one another and to the local community that we all love. Each day as we pass through the dining room and hear the buzz of voices raised by our café family, we revel at the vibrance of life that fills the room. No words can communicate how thankful we are for you. For loving us and supporting us through company transition, a global pandemic, growing pains, economic uncertainty and even a hurricane. We will miss you waiting in the parking lot when we get here, having a morning prayer over guests and community, laughing at inside jokes, seeing “the shack” shirts around town, receiving your hugs, your kind words, and your friendship.
We must also acknowledge the blessing we have in our staff. These girls ARE Crossroads. The food you come for, the service you seek come from these hard working ladies, dedicated to the café and its guests. They are all strong, loving, determined, intelligent, beautiful women and through God’s grace they were sent to us. What a great blessing!
Frank and I love each of you and look forward to seeing you around town and even dining with you in the Bistro as we all rally behind the new owners and create a community heartbeat for them as well.
