Our Carson is getting married to Chris! 🥹💙

Carson isn’t just an employee — she’s part of our Martha Jean’s family. We want all of our employees to have the opportunity to be there to watch her say “I do” and celebrate this beautiful day with Carson, Chris and their families.

5 YEARS. ❤️

Today marks five years since we became the owners of Martha Jean’s Diner, and I honestly don’t even know how to put into words what these five years have meant to me.

There were people who believed in us, and there were people who were sure we wouldn’t make it. There were days I wondered the same thing. Days I was exhausted, overwhelmed, discouraged, and ready to throw my hands up and walk away.

But GOD. 🙌🏻

When I didn’t know how, He made a way.
When I was tired, He gave me strength.
When things looked impossible, He provided.
When doors needed to open, He opened them.

Martha Jean’s has become so much more than a restaurant to me. It has been a place where people have gathered, prayed, laughed, cried, celebrated birthdays, mourned losses, made friendships, and simply sat down for a good meal and conversation. Somewhere along the way, I realized this little diner wasn’t just a business God gave me—it was a ministry and a calling.

Owning a small business is HARD. These five years haven’t always been pretty. There have been sacrifices most people will never see, prayers nobody heard but God, and plenty of nights I wondered how I was going to keep going.

Yet here we are.

Five years later. Still standing. Still serving. Still trusting God. ❤️

I’m incredibly thankful for every employee who has worked beside me, every customer who has walked through our doors, every person who has prayed for us, supported us, shared our posts, brought their family in, or simply chose Martha Jean’s when they could have gone anywhere else.

You have helped keep this little hometown diner going.

Above everything else, all glory belongs to God. I know without a doubt we wouldn’t be here today without His hand over this place.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
