There is a restaurant in Conway that makes me want to slam my head into a brick wall.

I've never worked there.. I don't know the owners.. they don't know me.. and I have only eaten there twice.. seven months ago

But I know someone who does work there, and the inside information I know about it makes me want to shave a ferret and throw it in the middle of their kitchen.

Knowing the potential this place has is extremely frustrating..

When I finally open my burger joint, I'm going to have decals on the front door that promises table service. I'll have kiosks at the front where you can order, but I'm not ever going to put paper in the receipt printer, and your order number will only flash for less than a second while you're looking down to take your debit card out of the machine.

If you're dining in, there will be number cards at the kiosks, but instead of taking the order to your table, we're going to call out the number from the counter so you can come get it..

Also.. we're going to slam your order on the counter, and walk away.. letting you stand at the counter for over three minutes wondering where your drink is.

If you ever call, and I don't say anything first, your number probably came up as a "Spam Risk".

13 times out of 10, it's Alice, trying to reach me about my car's extended warranty, calling for the third time that day to let me know she's giving me one last courtesy call before closing out my account. Sometimes it's "Kevin from your TV service provider." If I'm real lucky, "Brian from AT&T" is calling to give me a 40% discount on my bill for the next two years. Those are the fun ones.

However, I don't appreciate "Dave from AT&T" letting me know all the things he was going to do to my sister before he hung up on me the other day.

The moment after I get them to hang up on me.. that's how I know it's going to be a good day.
