The best moments are Sunday mornings when the guests are going back to their rooms after a big breakfast and they say, “We will definitely be back with our friends - we had a great stay- and this town is full of things to do! Also, can we keep are car parked longer to shop some more?!?”
And side note: We have always enjoyed great support from Downtown Bedford, Inc., Bedford County Chamber of Commerce (PA), but with the new leadership of Discover Bedford County our Inn has never been more full of people discovering and exploring Bedford County, Pennsylvania!

It’s been 13 years since we bought the building - almost 13 years since we reopened it*! *Small time period in the Golden Eagle Inn’s 240 year time frame, we know.
And now - Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Bedford (and her surrounding areas) are full of the most interesting of histories AND it’s a great place to visit.
It’s a privilege to be the proprietors of this historic Inn right here in the center of it all!

This is Tom. You probably know him, but in case you don’t here are some things you should know:
1. He loves bars, pubs, taverns, dives, cantinas, ale houses, and more.
2. He loves sports. He loves playing them and REALLY enjoys watching them.
3. He loves Team USA in any sport, any where, any time.
4. He really loves watching sports in bars and pubs. He loves the community spirit of it all.
5. His favorite pub is the Pub at the Golden Eagle.

So now you understand why we are open Monday starting at noon?
Cause America is playing in the World Cup and Tom is going to be there for it.
