Funny Car Chaos All Things CHAOS! Funny Car Chaos & Nitro Chaos Drag Racing
Good afternoon Chaos family! Well, we have been kinda quiet just living life the best we can over here in the BigBarron's Top End Grub camp. As you know, Brooke Proffitt had her surgery, double mastectomy, in July. She went for her 2 week checkup and her margins and all the other numbers look great! At this time there will be no radiation or chemo needed for treatment! The Lord is good and has answered our prayers! That being said, we plan to be at Mokan to watch thr race! We are not brining any equipment just the camper and gunna just hang out. But, if a team is in a bind and needs an able body to fire up your grill, or help in any way, let me know! Otherwise we will see everyone in the pits!

All Things CHAOS! Funny Car Chaos & Nitro Chaos Drag Racing Funny Car Chaos
Good morning Chaos nation. I haven't posted in a while for an update about Brooke but I figured it is about time. So she had two lumpectomys performed in the spring and Dr's said that after the second one there is still signs of the cancer in her breast that is so small it can only be detected on a microscope. So the more they took out the deeper it was being seen. The decision was made by Brooke to have a mastectomy done and to go ahead and do the double to hopefully avoid any of this mess in the future. Her spirits are high, she's feeling well but as the days get closer for surgery she is kinda nervous. Surgery will be on July 15TH. I know we were looking to be at the finals to be with our race family, but the recovery will be longer so we are going to be sitting out the rest of the season. We will get Brooke all better and come back out next year! Yall be sure to send race day updates as we are glued to social media for all things Chaos and always wishing each of you a safe and fast race! We thank each of you for your thoughts and prayers and with all them we will get better and see you all in the staging lanes soon!!

Don't forget, You come to race, we will feed your face!

Brooke Proffitt got her phone call today following her second surgery... Great news, they believe they got all her cancer! She has a check up on May 12th but should be good! Thank you to all who sent well wishes and prayers, and keep them coming that the check up goes great and she's in the clear! God is good and so are the many friends and family we have! Wow! What an awesome way to start the Chaos season! Though the schedule went a little longer than scheduled, it was certainly a bad ass event! I was able to watch some racing, meet new people and see all our fans and supporters! This Chaos family is like no other. I can not say thank you enough for all the support each of you give us here at BigBarron's Top End Grub ! We love each and everyone of you! I got to meet Mark A. Wells finally, we will have to cook up a feast together some time! I've been a fan for a very long time of Nitro Monkey A/Fuel Dragster and finally was setup right across from them! Went over and introduced myself and what am awesome team they are! I look forward to seeing them again and watching them have a great time at the track! Chris Graves and Tera Graves put on a great show and I think they take care of their people very well, the driver meetings cover lots of great information but they always recognize the people who are vital in the success of the Chaos including fans, drivers and sponsors! Speaking of sponsors, I was lucky enough to treat a couple to steak dinners this weekend and I hope Marvin Rodak with Rodak's Custom Roasted Coffee & BBQ Grills and Justin Arias with CP-Carrillo are able to come see us at the hospitality tent again soon! Most of all I hope they were full and spoiled while visiting us! Craig Garland gave us one last sermon at the Saturday morning chapel. We are certainly going to miss him and his awesome ability to deliver the word of God to us! I can't thank him enough for praying over my love, my partner in life and best friend Brooke Proffitt! That was truly a blessing. Well I've rambled on long enough, until we see you again, hopefully very soon, Brooke and I can't wait!

P. S. Update on Brooke, surgery went well, pathology will look at the part taken from her and determine if more surgery is needed. I believe all will be well. She will heal up from surgery then start a short couple of rounds of Radiation. But as far as the Dr could tell all went geyesterday!

Funny Car Chaos NITRO CHAOS, hey ya'll I hope everyone is ready to go racing in April! Been seeing some good stories and pictures of everyones hotrods! Can't wait to be back with everyone!!

If you were a winner of a preparty pass at the banquet, would you please shoot me a note and let me know! It was hectic at the end of the banquet so I didn't keep up with who won. Should be a nitro and a funny car for ennis and I think Mokan and then one for the Nitro finals and the Funny Car finals. Bring that ticket with you to the race and it is good for up to 10 people for the preparty! Text me, message me or reply to this post so we knkw who gets the deal!
