As our last tea service of the year gets ready to be served, I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for supporting us over the last Decade!

I can’t believe this was our 10th Dickens tea.

I have been absent from the tearoom most of this year due to health issues, and building the bar next door, but I want to say how thankful I am for my great employees and wonderful customers.

My employees have kept the tearoom running smoothly and you have continued to come in and support us.

We close today and will reopen on the 8th of January, if you’re looking for last minute gifts, or need to make reservstions while we are closed, links to both options can be found in our website.

And forcthise who have asked, yes Valentine’s Day is open for booking.

We have been fully booked for our annual Dickens tea for a while now, so after talking with staff, we have decided to open up a few more days. The 26th and the 27th is now available for booking, along with a few 5pm slots on Fridays.

Good luck, these spots book up quickly.

Hello there, we are completely booked out for this years Dickens Tea in December . Please feel free to email us if you would like to be put on our waiting list. (We are actively working with staff to see if we can make any more openings for this event)

Also please be careful of scammers, once our events book up, we start seeing scammers making posts that they are offering tickets because they can’t make it.

That is not how our Reservation system works, we don’t sell tickets for these events..

So if someone is offering to sell you their spot, please check with us to confirm if they have a reservation in the first place.

The Dates of our Dickens tea this year are 12/4/2025 to 12/21/2025

OUR DICKENS TEA IS NOT LIKE OUR OTHER EVENTS. DURING THIS TIME, WE FEEL THAT THE HOLIDAYS ARE MORE OF A FAMILY EVENT, AND SO WE DO NOT OFFER COMMUNITY TABLES DURING THIS TIME. EACH RESERVATION IS SEATED SEPARATELY.
This is also the 1 time per year that we don’t offer tea sandwiches, the bottom tier is all hot savories, as we take food from the Dickens books and pair them with Victorian Era Recipes,

I've got a holly jolly announcement: our 10th Annual Dickens tea is just around the corner. And don't freak out if Opentable says we're booked solid - reservations will magically appear on the 15th of this month.

Update on AfterDark progress.

The electricians are in the building, replacing all the wiring and adding in New wiring where needed.

The plumbers are in replacing all the plumbing and fixing anything that caused leaking in the Tea room over the last 10 years.

Building a new commercial kitchen, requires a lot of planning to get it right but once ready, we will be able to expand our seating in the Tea room and start doing the events again.

I will be glad when everything is done so we can finish painting, put in the flooring and bring in all of the decor and furniture and equipment that we have already purchased and is taking up room in my arena at at the farm.

The new space we are building will be 21 and over, and afternoon tea can be requested in the new space.

While the bar itself will not be obviously steampunk like the Tea room is, my goal is for both sides of the building to flow smoothly into each other while still providing a wonderful space to relax and enjoy yourselves, while adding a touch of my whimsical nature here and there.
