Something strange is happening to Not The Momma.

Maybe it was the full moon. Maybe it was all those Citra hops. Whatever happened, Not The Murkey! has emerged from the haze.

Our contribution to Month of Murkey 2026 is a Double Dry-Hopped Hazy IPA absolutely loaded with Citra hops—big citrus, big tropical character, soft haze, and just enough bite to remind you there’s still a monster lurking underneath.

We also had an absolute blast working with artist Chris Hernandez to bring this version of Nancy to life. Chris took our weird little corner of the Buckstin universe and made it even weirder, hairier, and a hell of a lot more Murkey. It was a pleasure getting to collaborate with him and watch this thing transform.

All October long, we’re joining 23 other Texas breweries for the fourth annual Month of Murkey by No Label Brewing Grab a passport, hit the road, drink some haze, collect your stops, and discover a few breweries along the way. Buckstin is proudly adding two Southeast Texas stops to this year’s hunt.

The hunt begins October 1. There’s no required route—just 24 breweries, a month to explore, and a whole lot of murk between here and Katy.

Our friends at Jack’s Pak-It came through with some special bratwurst just for Bucktoberfest.

So naturally, Murkey wandered a little farther this year.

With our 3rd Annual Bucktoberfest just over a week away, we want to say thank you.

The Southeast Texas community has been incredibly supportive since the beginning of Buckstin Brewing Co., and we couldn’t be happier to host a gathering like this in celebration of two things we love: l***r and community.

Buckstin Nederland and Beaumont will forever be places to gather with family and friends. So join us in raising a stein and kicking off our favorite time of year.

We’re teaming up with Chic Chef Events one more time for a five-course pairing dinner inspired by the nostalgia, flavors, and magic of the American boardwalk.
