We’re already looking ahead with joy!

We’re thrilled to share the dates for next year’s Praise Tea Room! Mark your calendars, tell your friends, and get ready for another season of Southern cooking, warm hospitality, and mission‑minded fellowship.

📅 2027 Tea Room Dates:
• May 24 - 28
• June 1 - 4

We can’t wait to open the doors again, welcome you to the table, and serve together for a purpose that reaches far beyond the meal.
Until then… we’re praying, planning, and preparing for another beautiful year.

When we look back on the Praise Tea Room, some of the most beautiful moments weren’t the recipes or the décor... they were the prayers.

Every prayer card someone filled out was treated like a sacred trust. Each morning, our team gathered and lifted every request to the Lord. We prayed for healing. We prayed for peace. We prayed for students stepping into new seasons and parents navigating transitions. We prayed for families believing for salvation for the people they love. We prayed for strength, comfort, and hope — name by name, need by need.

And throughout each day, many guests received prayer right at their tables. Our wait staff served with such tenderness and Christlike care, offering to pray whenever someone needed encouragement, courage, or simply a reminder that God sees them.

These were the moments that helped define the Tea Room. Hospitality that nourished both body and soul, and a community held together by prayer.

🌟 WHEW — WE DID IT!

First, we give all glory to God. From the first plate served to the last dessert boxed, His faithfulness has carried this Tea Room. He strengthened our hands, filled our tables, brought the right people at the right time, and wove together two weeks of fellowship, generosity, and joy that only He could orchestrate. We are grateful for every blessing He poured out.

To our amazing volunteers:
You showed up with joy, worked shoulder‑to‑shoulder, laughed, prayed, served, baked, washed, greeted, carried, decorated, and loved so well. You are the heartbeat of the Tea Room, and nothing we do happens without your faithfulness and your willingness to give your time and your heart.

To our wonderful guests:
Thank you for coming, for lingering over meals, for bringing friends, for sharing desserts, for supporting outreach, and for making the Tea Room a place of fellowship and warmth. Your presence made every day sweeter.

To our church family and leadership:
Thank you for the space, the support, the prayers, the encouragement, and the covering that make this ministry possible. We are so grateful for a church that believes in hospitality, generosity, and mission.

These last two weeks have been full of laughter, full tables, full hearts, and full purpose and we couldn’t have asked for more.

💛 We did it. Together. 💛

And now… we rest, we celebrate, and we look forward to opening these doors again next year for another season of Southern cooking, joyful service, and Christ‑centered hospitality.

This is it! Tomorrow is our final day of the Praise Tea Room. One last day to gather around a good Southern meal, one last day to enjoy the hospitality that feels like home, and one last day to pour into outreach that reaches far beyond these walls.

For the last 2 weeks, we’ve watched friends linger over plates, laughter rise from the tables, and volunteers serve shoulder‑to‑shoulder with joy and purpose. It’s been beautiful. It’s been meaningful. And tomorrow, we get to do it one more time before we close the doors until next year.

Only 2 days left to enjoy your Tea Room favorites!

The tomato pie everyone talks about, the best shrimp and grits in the Lowcountry, the strawberry pie that disappears fast, the chicken salad, the soups, the cakes....the fellowship.

Every visit this week helps us finish strong in our outreach efforts, blessing families and ministries in ways that matter deeply.

Come enjoy a meal, take home a dessert, find that special something in our gift shop and help us close out these last two days with joy and purpose!

Only three days left to enjoy the Praise Tea Room and Gift Shop!

What a joy it’s been to see friends gathered around good food and good purpose. There’s something special about sharing a meal that’s made with love; laughter over iced tea, stories between bites, and the kind of fellowship that fills both heart and table.

And behind every plate served, there is a camaraderie growing in our volunteers who are working side by side, encouraging one another, serving with joy, and showing what the Body of Christ looks like in motion.
Every salad plated, every dessert boxed, every smile offered is ministry in action.

Come spend time with us while you can and enjoy the hospitality, savor the cooking, and be part of what makes the Tea Room so special.

Even if you can’t stay and sit a spell, you can still enjoy all the goodness of the Praise Tea Room, because take‑out is available all week long.

Whether you’re craving a slice of our famous tomato pie (or a whole one to take home), a chicken salad plate for dinner, or one of our homemade cakes… we’ll pack it up with the same love and hospitality you’d get at the table.

And remember: every take‑out order still supports outreach.
Your meal becomes ministry. Your dessert becomes a blessing. Your support goes farther than you know.
