“Moonrakers,” named after the rectangular sail flown at the uppermost height of a three-mast 17th-century ship, is a state-of-the-art, upper-casual, full-service restaurant located on NC’s Crystal Coast. Our dining destination offers friendly, neighborly service, along with exceptional coastal cuisine and unparalleled views of the shimmering coastal waterway. Moonrakers’ menu features modern southern fare and influences from world cuisines and local seasonal ingredients. We invite you to discover the charm of the Beaufort Historical District, where each of our three levels offers a unique experience. The comfortable décor is centered around an inviting, light, and airy coastal themed atmosphere featuring original artwork of the area. Moonrakers’ first floor offers a captivating dining room and bar, along with a covered open-air dining area overlooking the coastal waterway. Highlights include a display kitchen, 14-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, a custom mural, a dedicated w**e wall, and a wood-fired brick oven. Our second floor Concorde Gallery is a more intimate atmosphere, ideal for date nights and special occasions. The refined space is clad with original oils and features w**e lockers and a veranda deck for the ultimate sunset experience. Enjoy a vibrant and lively atmosphere on our open-air Sky Deck adorned with acoustic sun sails. With an additional 90 seats, this level offers a stylish bar and expansive views of Taylor’s Creek. The Sky Deck is perfect for social gatherings and a dynamic dining experience, offering lunch and lighter fare in the evening. Many of our guests enjoy unwinding in this rooftop oasis after dinner, where they can savor dessert and a digestif while watching the boats sail by.
