He is an Eastern North Carolina–born singer-songwriter with three solo albums behind him, years of touring, and a sound shaped by blues, soul, Americana, country, and rock. His third album, Ride Along, was described as a smooth blend of country and rock with an easy, feel-good pull.

Cru is joining the Do It for Dolly Bar Crawl next Friday, benefiting the Carteret Partnership for Children and the local Dolly Parton Imagination Library.

The crawl starts at 6 PM at The Periwinkle, and we’ll keep the night going at Cru with Turner Edwards live at 8 PM.

Come make the rounds, support a program that puts books into local homes, and stay for the music.
