grocery stores that let their bakery or produce workers do chocolate covered strawberries for valentine’s day are most likely the berries that didn’t sell previously. they’re small, old, sour, etc. things we obviously wouldn’t buy for ourselves. if you want chocolate covered fruit, get them from a baker or treat maker you trust. grocery stores don’t really care because they sell regardless! actual people who want to build their brand and name would make sure everything is right because they want you to come back and keep the growing business alive. they put hard work into their products and it shows. so what’s your budget? store bought, or homemade? 🤭💕✨
