*Chamber Meeting Update* Due to summer vacations and everyone preparing for the start of the new school year there will be no Chamber of Commerce meeting in July.

We hope everyone enjoys the remainder of summer and we wish all of our students, teachers, school staff, and families a wonderful start to the new school year.

We look forward to seeing everyone at our next Chamber meeting on the third Monday in August!

It was great to see Edna Cockerham, one of our regular Main Street Mile walkers, out getting her steps in Wednesday morning.

Herman’s Brew has been such a wonderful addition to Main Street ❤️
Thank you to all of the small businesses that continue to invest in Main Street every single day. We appreciate you more than you know.

Herman says: Sometimes the coffee is brewed with premium beans… and sometimes it’s brewed with pure stubbornness. ☕😂

Truth is, behind every small business is someone running on caffeine, crossed fingers, and the determination to unlock the door again tomorrow.

We’re thankful that every smile, every order, every conversation, and every bit of support reminds us why we keep going.

Now if you’ll excuse us… Herman says there’s coffee to make and bills that aren’t going to pay themselves. 🐾🤎☕️

Driving by today, we couldn’t help but notice how nice the City Park looks! 🌳☀️

A big thank you to the City of Beattyville and the crews who work hard to keep our park clean, beautiful, and maintained. We appreciate your efforts to provide a place where our community’s children and families can play, gather, and make memories.

It is with great sadness that we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Martha Burch, longtime owner of the beloved Purple Cow Restaurant. Martha made a lasting impact on downtown Beattyville through her business, her dedication, and the countless memories she helped create over the years. There is a Purple Cow statue that currently stands on Town Square and proudly features Martha and her late husband Clyde's photo, as a tribute to the Purple Cow they made so special.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Burch family during this difficult time. May they find comfort in knowing Martha's legacy will continue to be remembered and cherished by so many. 💜🐄
