Since we were gone for a week with St. John Lutheran Church ELCA Beatrice, NE youth group for a mission trip to Pittsburgh, I decided to open up today, along with Ziel's Sonic Soda Stand. Starting now and going until around 5pm, stop by The Station at the corner of 9th and Market.
There is also a yardsale going on in the 800 block of Market St. Looks like a great mix of items.

Since I'm out stocking and organizing the truck for the weekend anyway, I decided to have The Station open for the evening. Stop by for a coffee or smoothie now until 9ish tonight. 9th and Market, Beatrice.

☀️ Vendor Spotlight: Fat Rabbit Produce 🥕🍅

This week we’re excited to spotlight Fat Rabbit Produce, a local family venture with roots that started small and grew into something pretty amazing.

Fat Rabbit Produce was started in 2017 by Chet McGrury IV when he was just 14 years old. After having a hard time finding a summer job at his age, Chet decided to create one for himself — and started a vegetable business.
What began as a kid’s idea in a 25 x 40-foot backyard garden has now grown into a family operation spanning nearly four acres.
Fat Rabbit started with just eight tomato plants, a row of beets, some zucchini and green beans, and a few onions. Today, they grow everything from asparagus to zucchini, tending more than 150 tomato plants, 100 pepper plants, 1,600 onions, rows of beets, green beans, and just about every vegetable you can imagine.
This year, Fat Rabbit also added a high tunnel greenhouse, helping them begin growing earlier in the spring and continue later into the fall.
And the market stand keeps growing too! Claire has added cut flowers and baked goods to the list of items available, bringing even more color, beauty, and homemade goodness to market mornings.
Fat Rabbit Produce is grateful for every customer who has supported their journey and helped make this adventure possible.
