Often times they break down too

We’re closed Sunday & Monday
…but the electric meter didn’t get the memo.

This is day-ahead pricing from Ameren.
I’ve been watching it all week and today’s rates are nearly double what they were just a few days ago.

We’re not even open, and it’s still costing us just to keep the coolers running.

Every hour, we’re being charged just to exist.
Not to serve guests.
Not to cook food.
Just to preserve it.....and it’s brutal.

People see the food, the smiles, the wins, but they don’t see this side.
The side where you’re hemorrhaging money on your day off. The part where you’re asking yourself how many more price hikes you can take before something breaks, AGAIN!

It’s discouraging. It’s defeating. But we show up anyway. Because we built this from nothing, and we’re not ready to let go.

So if you’re still supporting your local small businesses....You have no idea how much it means.

You’re not just helping us stay open…
You’re helping us stay afloat.
You’re helping us hold on.

❤️
