Juan Cruz’s coffee comes to us from Cajamarca, in the mountains of northern Peru. As part of the Aromas Del Valle cooperative, Juan Cruz’s farm of planted Caturra was selected as a single-estate offering for its impressive cup character.
Aromas del Valle is a dynamic, youth-led coffee cooperative combining high technical capacity with impactful social change. Guided by expert leadership, the co-op provides members with native shade trees, organic inputs, and advanced processing infrastructure to boost yields and cup quality. Backed by a professional lab and a nationally recognized cupper, they continuously reinvest in their farmers through advanced drying and pulping equipment. Beyond agriculture, Aromas del Valle actively funds the Mestiza project, challenging gender inequality and empowering women growers through dedicated technical and psychological support.
This coffee is clean, bright, and well-rounded with cola and honey sweetness, and crisp red apple tasting notes.
