First, I’d like to congratulate our celebrant, Dr. Abiola on this remarkable achievement.
When his wife contacted me to create a cake for this celebration, I knew it had to represent more than just receiving a doctoral degree. To accomplish something this significant at 70 years old is a beautiful reminder that learning, growth, and achievement truly have no age limit.
So, I designed the cake as a stack of books to represent knowledge, years of study, perseverance and accomplishment. At the very top is the graduation cap, representing the crowning moment of that journey, and of course, the diploma completes the story.
But I think what makes this celebration even more special is that his wife chose to honour him and his achievement in this way. It was an absolute pleasure for me and Auntykike’s Bakery to bring her vision to life.
Dr. Abiola, congratulations on your doctorate. At 70, you have given all of us here a wonderful reminder that it is never too late to pursue a dream, achieve a goal, or add another beautiful chapter to our story.
