Uncommon Grounds Coffee House & Cafe

Uncommon Grounds Coffee House & Cafe Uncommon Grounds Coffee House and Cafe is a non-profit, 501c3 and is an extension of The Purple Lemon, Inc. Each student receives regular financial meetings.

Our faith-based program provides transitional housing, job, financial and life skill training, as well as one on one counseling. Prior to entrance into our program, our ladies attend a one year in-house treatment with the Adult and Teen Challenge program. Our ladies receive above market wages and participate in our scholarship program. All ladies that complete one year with our program and save $1

000 will receive matching funds of $3,000 to purchase a vehicle or build funds for transitioning out of the program. The scholarship is funded through financial donations, as well as book sales in our cafe. We believe each lady is unique; each with a special calling on her life. We strive to create an environment that nurtures exploration and discovery of her identity through Jesus Christ.
