How sweet! We have wonderful neighbors.

Bring your packages to the library, and let the people of the Russell Community Club make them beautiful gifts for a loved one to receive ! A two dollar donation per gift is suggested. The funds earned will go to support the Monday Spot Meals for high schoolers.

We're so thankful for new volunteers and the old-faithfuls, wonderful homemade treats, so many fresh eggs shared, the bountiful hotdoggy buns last week and this week's amazing cinnamon raisin bread that made the best french toast casserole. Mostly we're thankful for the kids who make it all worthwhile. Life is good.

Happy Halloweenie! This week we'll be serving haunt dogs with homemade potato salad and baked beans. So good, it's spooky!

Our students & volunteers want to invite those affected by the government shutdown to lunch, especially furloughed federal workers and anyone facing food insecurity. To allow the kids to get through line and back to class on time, we ask community members to come to lunch at 1:00. Help spread the word!

We're inviting students + teachers/staff down for cozy soup and bread this week! Yes, we will have the *viral* lasagna soup as well as (vegan, gluten-free) Italian white bean soup with tasty veggies.

It was great to welcome the students back this week with their #1 favorite meal (tacos!). Next Monday 9/15 is baked potato bar with all the fixings.

9/22 will be soup and sandwiches - we love getting requests!

9/29 will be pasta bar with homemade red sauce, Alfredo sauce, Italian meatballs, and salad.

Hope the school year is off to a great start for all Bayfield students & staff 🍏

It was so great having a crowd for lunch this week! Seeing the kids go back through line for seconds felt like a five-star review.
