Today, we’re raising a cup of coffee to the one and only Dolly. 💕✨

For years, Dolly has held a very special place in the heart of Mockingbird Cafe. Each year, we gather for our annual Dolly Should festival to celebrate her birthday, her music, her kindness, and the incredible example she set of using your gifts to make the world a little brighter. Together, through Dolly Should, our Mockingbird community has raised thousands of dollars for local charities and donated thousands of books to children in Dolly’s name.

Dolly reminded us that you don’t have to be rich to be generous, famous to make a difference, or extraordinary to do extraordinary things. You just have to care. We’re heartbroken to say goodbye, but we’re so grateful for the joy, music, stories, and kindness she gave the world and for the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

We’ll keep the music playing. We’ll keep the books going out. And we’ll keep doing a little good in your honor.

💗 may we all remember to live & love like Dolly.
