Well foot! We’ve had a catastrophic sourdough failure tonight…we think we got a bad batch of flour. 76 loaves, 150 English Muffins, 34 focaccias all ruined! I knew the dough was not acting right but we kept on trying! We’ve cut into 10 loaves. The crust is hard as a rock the crumb is gummy, and the taste is way off! We are sorry we will not be at the Ankeny Uptown Market tomorrow as we cannot in good conscience bring you bad bread.
