The resort community here in Baudette lost a hell of a good man last night. Slim fought one hell of a battle with pancreatic cancer, and he fought it all the way to the very end.

Slim was a husband, a father, and a hardworking, kind-hearted son of a gun who always put people first. He was the kind of man who left a mark on everyone lucky enough to know him.

We sure are going to miss seeing that smiling face around Bugsy’s—especially on Sunday Fundays and Monday night pool league. But don’t you worry, Slim… the golden lights are cold, and your shot glass will always be filled with Crown. 🥃

I bet those gates of Heaven were wide open, and everyone was there to greet you with open arms.

Until we see you again, Slim. Thank you for the laughs, the memories, and simply being you. You will be missed more than words can say. ❤️

Rest easy, Slim. 🍻🥃
