As we approach the festive season, it's hard to believe we're already preparing for Christmas 2026. As we count down to the holidays, we'll be sharing individual posts for each event. Please note that we traditionally open Christmas reservations on August 1st, and we're a couple of days behind schedule, for which we apologize. Below, you'll find our holiday programs for this year:

Thanksmas Tea: Saturday, November 28th, 11am to 3:30pm, $50 per person. This unique tea combines the spirit of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Children's Christmas Tea: Saturday, December 5th, 4:30pm, $40 per person. A fun-filled tea designed specifically for our young patrons, complete with delightful foods and surprises.

Candlelight Christmas Tea's: Saturday, December 12th & 19th, 4:30pm, $60. Join us for an unforgettable six-course Christmas tea, set amidst the warm glow of candles and twinkling lights on our Christmas tree.

Charles Dickens Christmas Dinner: Sunday, December 20th, 1:30pm, $40. Start your holiday week with a delectable three-course meal inspired by the classic tale 'A Christmas Carol,' accompanied by seasonal music.

Please note that all Christmas events require reservations, which can be made on opentable.com or by calling us at 360.984.6422. We've already begun taking reservations, so don't hesitate to book your spot, as spaces are limited. A credit card will be required to hold your reservation.

We're also excited to introduce our new private dining space, the Tea & Thistle Loft, perfect for hosting private events. Contact us to discuss how we can tailor this space to your needs.

During the month of December, we'll be open from 11am to 3:30pm on Tuesdays to accommodate increased demand. Our regular business hours will feature our Holly Jolly Christmas Tea and a selection of special Christmas tea blends, priced at $45 per person. We will also offer some baked goods that can be pre-ordered to pick up for your holiday. I will post a list over the next couple of weeks of items that are available to order, so if there is something you'd like, remember to call us early to make sure your items will be in stock

We are thrilled to announce the return of our European Christmas Market, following the overwhelming success of our inaugural event last year. This year, we have made some exciting changes to enhance your experience. Notably, we have relocated to The Arts Centered Building, 1007 E Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98663, providing a spacious indoor setting for all vendors to showcase their talents. Santa Claus will arrive at 12:30pm, and our food vendors will offer a delightful range of treats to savor on-site or take home. The market will be open from 10:30am to 4:00pm. We look forward to welcoming you!

We are delighted to announce that our inaugural Sunday Brunch will take place on August 16th. Our menu will feature a range of options, including a light brunch afternoon tea, and a monthly special, as well as a few other items. This month, we are pleased to offer Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding with all the trimmings. We invite you to join us for a wonderful dining experience. We have a local artists who will be coming in and playing some live music for us, truly a don't miss!. A Secret So-cie-Tea of Qual-i-Tea. Hmmmmm what does that mean? Well in all honesty, I am not going to spill any tea tonight, its going to be a bit of fun, where you come in for a tea and have no idea what the occasion is, what the menu is, or even what we are celebrating. What's the dress code you ask? Simple, you wear some please, along with some shoes too. I know I am so demanding :). So if your intrigued as to what it is going to be, well come and join us for this fun event. Saturday, August 15th, at 4:00pm. As always Reservations for this event are required and space is very limited, cost is $35 per person. So be sure to call us as soon as possible at 360.984.6422 to secure your secret spot ;) Oh and just so you know, no one will give any hints.

Yes you read that right! Sunday Brunch will be served once a month at the tea shop. It will have a fun assortment of menu options. Everything from a carefully selected afternoon tea brunch menu to a Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding Dinner. Come and join us, as always reservations are highly recommended but not required. We will be open Sunday August 16th from 11am to 2:30pm. See you there!

We have some fun new changes coming to the tea shop, so please bare with me while I do a few posts.

As of Friday July 17th, we will be open for breakfast. Service will begin at 8am and go through to 10:30am. We have created a menu that is fun, but filling at the same time. We will have tea hot or cold, Coffee from our local supplier YMF Coffee, Juice, Lemonade or everyones favourite hot chocolate. One question I have been asked over and over is do we have a full English breakfast, and my answer now will be yes we will have a full English for you to order, but it will only be served on a Saturday breakfast menu. Bakery case will be full of items for you to choose from for breakfast also. If you'd like it to go, not a problem Just call us up and we will do the rest and have it ready for you to come and pick up at your preferred time. I do not have this listed on open table as of this moment, if you want to make a reservation for breakfast please call us at 360.984.6422 and we will make sure you have a table, we will not take reservations via email or fb messenger at this time, but reservations as always are a suggestion not a requirement.

I would say lovely to see the rain go but for those of us who have been around the Pacific NW a while we all know it won’t stop raining until July 4th! Don’t forget we are offering Mothers Day Tea To Go with pick up on Saturday or Sunday. A five course tea that will be displayed in a Togo stacker ready to eat when you get to your destination, along with all the accompaniments you will need to enjoy your time with the mums I n your life. Give us call to make sure you are on the order list as this will not be available to just come in and pick up. If you’re looking for reservations we have two tables left available for Saturday at 3pm so call early if you’d like to reserve one of them.
