Every step toward the finish line means more when the community is behind it.

On September 26, Walk the Walk will move from Lucky Rooster to One Nation Tap & Table, bringing people together for a cause that stays right here in Calhoun County.

Modern Woodmen is helping make that day possible, supporting an event centered on local families, local resources, and the people in our community who need them.

Nearly 300 people took part last year. This year, the goal is around 500 people walking Columbia Avenue together.

Make plans to be part of it. Walk, bring someone with you, share the event, and help us fill the route from start to finish.

On September 26, Walk the Walk will bring Battle Creek together from the starting line at Lucky Rooster to the finish here at One Nation Tap & Table.

Biddergy is helping make that day possible, supporting an event focused on local people, local families, and resources that stay right here in Calhoun County.

Nearly 300 people participated last year. This year, the goal is around 500 people walking Columbia Avenue together.

That finish line means more when the whole community helps build the road to it.

Walk the Walk begins at Lucky Rooster and ends here at One Nation Tap & Table, but what matters most is what happens because Battle Creek shows up.

J&J Sheet Metal is helping make that possible, supporting an event built around local people, local families, and resources that stay right here in Calhoun County.

Kylie may be dressed for the part, but she’s showing absolutely zero solidarity with the BBQ Pork Slider.

BBQ pulled pork piled onto a slider, and because apparently the pig suit wasn’t extra enough, she upgraded the house ranch chips to sidewinder fries.

The finish line means more when the whole community gets there together. 🎗️

On Saturday, September 26, Walk the Walk will bring Battle Creek together for a journey that starts at Lucky Rooster, travels Columbia Avenue, and finishes right here at One Nation Tap & Table.

Nearly 300 people walked last year. In 2026, we’re building toward 500 people walking for survivors, families, friends, and neighbors across our community.

And every step has a local purpose. 100% of the funds raised stay in Calhoun County, supporting breast-cancer prevention, education, screening access, and community resources.

Sims Heating & Cooling is helping make that impact possible. As third-generation mechanical contractors, their roots run deep in the community they serve, and their support helps keep Walk the Walk focused exactly where it belongs: local people helping local people.

September 26, Columbia Avenue becomes more than a road. It becomes a reminder of what Battle Creek can do when we move together.
