🌱 Today’s garden hack: Ask someone for help! 😂

I’m SO thankful for my mom and all her help! She came over yesterday and cleaned out so many flower beds for me. 🙌🏻❤️ I definitely couldn’t do all of this by myself!

Some days can feel pretty overwhelming trying to juggle ALL THE THINGS! 😅

Last night, as I laid my head on the pillow and started talking to God about what was overwhelming me, it hit me…

Have I even asked God for help lately? 🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s amazing how quickly God can help and calm us down.

I woke up this morning and honestly couldn’t even remember what I was so overwhelmed about last night. 😂🙌🏻

So maybe that’s your little reminder today too: Ask for help. And especially ask God. You don’t have to do it all by yourself. 🥰🌸

🌻 Well, I wasn’t expecting this! 🌻

I was out for a walk this evening enjoying this wonderful weather when a pop of yellow caught my eye. 💛 I was hopeful another flush of sunflowers was coming soon, but I didn’t realize it’d be NOW! 😂

So my youngest and I just picked them in the dark, put them in the cooler, and now they’re ready for you! They are so cute and petite and just the happiest of flowers!🌻

I’m making wrapped bunches of these—

The last of our summer subscription bouquets are going out this week! 💐

A huge shoutout to all of our WONDERFUL subscribers for supporting God’s Amazing Flowers this season! I hope you’ve enjoyed every bouquet! 💕

A few weeks ago, it really felt like we were in a lull with the Arkansas heat and drought. Just when I was about ready to give up on this season’s flowers, God brought us rain… and now we have some blooms! 🙌🌧️🌸

I don’t have an abundance of flowers, but I’m planning to make a few extra bouquets tomorrow while I have the blooms available. 💐 If I have extras after the subscription bouquets are made, I’ll let you know!

One of the most impactful people in my life died last year—and that was my dad. ❤️

He was always full of wisdom, even up until the moments before he died. On the day he passed, just hours before, we got to say our goodbyes.

I looked at him and, with tears in my eyes, happily said, “You get to be with Jesus!”

He looked back at me and said, “I already am.”

That moment has stuck with me ever since.

As Christians, we have the privilege of walking with Jesus every day. Christ lives IN us.

We often see Him in the details of our lives—in the people He places around us, in the love we experience, and in the beauty of His creation around us.

What a comfort. What a joy. What a gift. 🙌🏻

Ok y’all…here’s what I got done in the garden yesterday. 🌱

I will say…there was a little more procrastinating going on while I admired the sunflowers. 🤣🥰

I said I was going to clean out this flower bed, so I had to follow through and do it. Thanks for holding me accountable! 😂

Feels good to check one task off my list! Only 100 more to go! 🤣

Ok y’all…I’ve decided I need a little accountability, and I know y’all are just the ones who can help me. 😂

I’m starting to finally feel more motivated and excited to get back outside and in the garden (now that there is hope of cooler temps on the way…right?!). There’s A LOT I want to get done as we transition into the next season. I’m excited to watch the backyard transform again as the seasons change! 🍂🌱

So I decided I want to share the little garden tasks I’m working on…partly to bring y’all along with me and partly because this will hold me accountable to actually get the task done. 🤣

So up first: cleaning out a flower bed.

Saturday morning thoughts in the garden:

We don’t have a whole lot of blooms right now, but it’s amazing to see what happens when God waters. 🌧️🌱 Everything perked up!

And you know what? I’m feeling the same way, too. A little extra pep in my step and a fresh reminder that He is faithful—ALWAYS! 🤍🙌🏻

Life is a roller coaster. Ever feel that way?🎢

Sometimes I get so caught up thinking about what’s gone that I forget to notice what’s right in front of me.

In the flowers and in different seasons of life, there’s always something beautiful right in front of us. 🙌🏻💕

It was a little easier to get away with my family the other weekend since we don’t have as many blooms right now. And you know what? The slower parts of the season bring lots of blessings, too.

So thankful for this family and for the gift of slowing down and enjoying them. 🥰

Hate to even admit it, but I’ve been feeling a little down lately. I want to show up on here to be an encouragement to you, but sometimes it’s a struggle to even show up.

I have not been out in the flowers as much lately because of the heat and lack of blooms…..But today it rained!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

This evening, I decided to finally get out in the backyard again, and walk through the garden. And wow, I’m feeling much better and refreshed already. I didn’t realize just how much I was missing this.

Oftentimes we read about how Jesus was in the garden, and it just makes a little more sense when you take a moment to simply sit and be still in the garden.

If life has you down, take a moment to step outside and look for the beauty. Sometimes it’s harder to see, but if you look closely enough, you’ll find it.

God will bring you peace. 🙌🏻❤️
