UPDATE ON THE PARISH-WIDE "SHOUT OUT" --- Thank you to everyone that gave a "shout out" to a local business! I hope you each took a moment to read each one that was posted. Business owners need us and our support and you know what, we need them too!!!

I challenge each of you that responded to the Chamber's posting....take a moment at least one time a week to "shout out" on your page a business name that provided you a service that week or that you purchased something from them. And tell us why you are giving them a "shout out". Let us start giving more positive "shout out's" instead of the negative that is sadly often posted. I, myself, will rise to this challenge, whether it be me buying a nutrition tea, eating out for lunch or even buying my groceries that week. Doing this weekly "shout out" will certainly make that business owner proud.

Small businesses are definitely the backbone of our communities. They create jobs, they contribute to the economy, they provide services we need, and they support charities and local events. Simply put, small businesses build stronger and more connected communities/neighborhoods. Besides, these owners are our neighbors, our friends and who we attend church with. So shouldn't we help support them?
