I just want to jump on here and thank everyone for your continued support! 12 years ago we didn’t think the business would be what it is now. It hasn’t always been easy and fun. Trust me, there were times when we wanted to quit. But, we found a way… Josh found a way. The man never stops working. I don’t know where we would be without him.
This is a definitely a family business. Bobby isn’t a relative, but he’s family. He’s the pit master and he does a damn good job. Our youngest daughter, Abby, is the shop supervisor lol. She’s the sweet girl behind the register at the shop. Our oldest kids help when they can. Alex has ran the pit before and AJ helps on the food truck. Everyone helps with wood when Josh tells them. Abel is the food truck supervisor. He just comes and ‘works’ for the brisket, lol.
Everything we do is for our kids. Our schedules are always full. This was probably the funnest week we’ve had in a while. The girls had volleyball, the hoco parade then our homecoming football game. Our Bartlett Bulldogs are now 4-0!! Abby got to cheer, AJ looked stunning for the homecoming court, Alex had a great game and Abel had fun with his friends. Josh and I ditched the grease stained shirts to walk AJ on the field, lol.
When you support us, you’re supporting our family. You’re helping keep Josh’s grandpa Sodi’s legacy alive. We can’t thank you enough!
