This week I’m thankful for the ridiculously talented artists who display and sell their work at Voodoo Cafe. You make my little cafe WAY too cool.

I love supporting local artists and giving our caffiends the chance to take home something weird, wonderful, and completely unnecessary.

There is, however, ONE tiny downside.

I WANT TO KEEP ALL OF IT. 😳

So thank you to all our amazing artists for trusting Voodoo with your creations. We love having your work here and helping caffiends discover and support local talent.

Basically, if someone talented made it and we thought, “Damn, that’s cool,” there’s a pretty good chance it’s hanging around Voodoo.

Somehow we survived another week of running a small business without setting anything on fire.

Mostly.

But seriously… we are ridiculously thankful for y’all. 🖤

Every coffee, every beignet, every gift card, every shared post, every friend you drag through our doors… YOU keep this little caffeinated circus rolling.

Running a small business is basically saying, “Sure, we can handle that!” while quietly screaming into a coffee cup.

And then y’all show up and remind us why we do it.

So THANK YOU. Seriously.

Now come get caffeinated, eat something covered in powdered sugar, and pretend you have your life together.

Today’s completely unnecessary educational moment brought to you by caffeine, questionable decisions, and whatever the hell is happening at Voodoo Cafe.

Did you know “masala chai” literally means “spiced tea”?

Which means when you order a “chai tea,” you are essentially ordering a TEA TEA.

Congratulations. You have been lied to by the English language. 😂

But WAIT. IT GETS BETTER.

Our For the Love of Gourd is our masala chai topped with pumpkin spice cold foam because apparently we looked at perfectly respectable spiced tea and thought:

“Know what this needs?”

🎃 PUMPKIN SPICE

Because it’s Fall. Allegedly.

Memphis is currently somewhere around “summer’s evil stepmother,” but we have decided it is FALL and nobody can stop us.

So come get your spicy tea tea with pumpkin spice foam and embrace the seasonal delusion with us.

Education is important.

Our beignets have been possessed by spiced apples and caramel drizzle. Because apparently powdered sugar alone wasn’t enough chaos. Warm, sweet, spicy and just the right amount of witchcraft.

🎃 FOR THE LOVE OF GOURD
Our Masala Chai has entered its pumpkin era and is topped with pumpkin spice cold foam. It’s cozy. It’s spicy. It tastes like Fall finally got its damn act together.
