Our hearts are broken today. This morning, we lost our beloved Tasha after her long battle with cancer.

Tasha came to Crossing 2nd in October 2020 as a server, but she soon became so much more. She was our front-of-house manager, our problem-solver, our helper, our friend, and part of our family. She had a brightness about her that filled a room before she even said a word. She was kind, funny, loyal, generous, and full of heart. She made people feel welcome. She made Crossing 2nd warmer simply by being there.

Tasha loved deeply and was deeply loved. We'll always be grateful she was part of our lives and part of the Crossing 2nd story. To everyone who knew her, worked with her, laughed with her, was welcomed by her, or was touched by her kindness - please remember her with love today.

Rest easy, Tasha. We hope you’ve found peace. You’ll be missed more than words can say.

The sign is up. And that’s not an easy sentence to write.

Closing our doors has been one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make. There’s real heartbreak in stepping away from something we poured so much into—and from the people who made it all worth it. It was never just a business to us, but a place where strangers became friends, where stories were shared over meals, where laughter filled the rooms, and where this community showed up for each other again and again.

Thank you—for every meal, every event, every conversation, every moment.
