What if a charcuterie board could be more than just something to eat?
The Black Box Collective is looking to partner with local senior living communities, nursing homes, and activity departments to offer a fun, hands-on Build Your Own Charcuterie Experience!
This isn’t just about making a pretty board. It’s about giving residents an opportunity to:
🧠 Make choices and keep their minds engaged
✋ Practice hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
🎨 Get creative and make something that’s uniquely theirs
💬 Socialize, laugh, and enjoy conversation with others
🍓 Explore different colors, textures, flavors, and foods
❤️ Have a sense of accomplishment from creating something themselves
And most importantly, it’s something they get to enjoy together.
Residents can choose their favorite meats, cheeses, fruits, crackers, sweets, and other goodies and create their own personal grazing board—with as much or as little assistance as they need.
I’d love to bring this experience into local communities and customize it to fit the residents and the type of event you’re looking for.
