Tune in this Wednesday from 12–3 p.m. ET as Cape Cod takes center stage on FOX Weather Beach House, a nationwide showcase of America’s most iconic coastal destinations! The Cape Cod Chamber’s PR rep Bill SeSousa-Mauk and our destination marketing team worked closely with producers to showcase the very best of Cape Cod—from a scenic dune tour and fresh oyster farming experience to waterfront dining, biking the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and strolling through our charming downtown villages. Board member Sarah Lapsley Martin will serve as the local tour guide for the segment.

We’re thrilled for this opportunity to showcase Cape Cod to a national audience just in time for summer! 📺 Watch live: https://www.foxweather.com/live

Save the Date: Net Zero 2025 Conference
October 14, 2025 | 1 PM | Emerald Resort at Cape Cod Irish Village, Hyannis.

The climate impacts we’re facing are no longer hypothetical; they’re inevitable. The question now is: what can we do to shape the outcome?

Whether you want to protect your community, safeguard your property, or strengthen your organization’s response, Net Zero 25 will give you tools, connections, and inspiration to act. This year’s program will explore:

• Cape Cod Climate Action Plan – progress, priorities, and next steps
• Municipal Coastal Resilience – protecting our shorelines and infrastructure
• The Rising Cost of Homeownership – catastrophic insurance increases linked to climate change
• Grid Readiness – ensuring our energy infrastructure can meet future demands

Mark your calendar for October 14—and be part of the solution. Registration link coming soon!

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us for this year’s NetZero Conference! From passionate community members and local leaders to expert speakers and dedicated organizers, your presence and participation helped make this our most impactful event yet.

The message was clear: climate impacts are no longer a distant threat, they’re here now. The question we focused on was: “What can we do today to protect our communities and our future?”

Over the course of the conference, we came together to explore real, actionable solutions to some of the region’s most pressing climate challenges, including: coastal resilience, skyrocketing homeowners’ insurance costs, grid readiness and energy security and the Climate Action Plan for Cape Cod.

Whether your goal is to protect your home, empower your organization, or contribute to local resilience efforts, we hope you walked away with the tools, insights, and connections needed to turn knowledge into action.

Once again, a big thank you to all of our generous sponsors:
Barr Foundation, Cape Light Compactt, Cape Cod 5, Steamship Authority, Center for Coastal Studies and the New England Aquarium .

Two bridges. One way on, one way off Cape Cod.

They're 90 years old, and when they go, so does a lot of what makes life here possible.
For a region already facing rising seas, eroding shores, and a changing climate, the last thing we need is to lose our lifeline too. How we replace these bridges, and how fast, matters enormously for the Cape's future.

Bridge the Gap, a new podcast from the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce and the Cape & Islands Bridges Coalition, is digging into exactly that.

Give it a listen. The Cape's future is the conversation: https://capecodchamber.libsyn.com/website
