The official “unofficial end of summer” weekend is upon us. Celebrate it right at the Dolphin tonight!! A couple of the specials this Saturday:

1 1/4pound baked stuffed lobster à la dolphin stuffed with our lobster portobello stuffing, shrimp, and studded with day boat scallops $55
And homemade spicy shrimp egg rolls (2) $15
Also don’t forget we now have whole belly clams!!

For more than 75 years, the Dolphin Restaurant has been a part of Barnstable Village. A place where generations of families, locals and visitors alike have come and enjoyed meals. The Dolphin opened its doors in 1948 when the Smith family served their very first meal. Today, third generation owner Nancy Smith carries on that legacy with that same appreciation for the people and community that have made the Dolphin what it is.

The Dolphin is excited to announce that we have some new and exciting changes rolling out
THIS WEEK with our new Head Chef, George! First off, we would like to formally thank Chef Jeff, who spent more than 20 successful years at the Dolphin, feeding and caring for countless patrons. We are incredibly grateful for the time, talent, and memories he gave to this restaurant.

George has been part of the Dolphin family for over 9 years, working in the kitchen as a chef, but perhaps more well known to many as the bartender who greeted you with a smile or a dry joke. We're so excited to bring his creativity, experience, and love for cooking to the kitchen.

George and Nancy have been working on a revamped menu that both honors where the Dolphin came from, while also giving you all something new to look forward to. You'll find refreshed recipes for favorites like our quahog, chowder, and seafood stuffing, along with a rotating vegetable to be paired with entrees each night. Some beloved classics have found their way back to the menu, including the Sole à la Dolphin and Pan-Fried Chicken. We also have some new potential favorites waiting for you, like our Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignon and Seared
Day Boat Scallops. We've made sure there's something for everyone, with new gluten-free and vegetarian labels on our menu, and a new and improved Kids Menu for the little ones.

Through all of these changes, there's one thing that hasn't changed and that's who the Dolphin is at its core. With these changes, we hope to show you that we truly care, that this more than just a job to us and is something that our entire staff is proud of.

If you haven't been in awhile, be sure to stop in and see what's new. To our regulars: we hope you're excited as we are to grow!
