Giving away free gas?! Yes, you heard that right 💜💛
If you happened to be at our Hammond Street Freshies in Bangor today, between 11am and 12:30pm, you may have noticed some people in bright yellow vests hanging around the gas pumps. We teamed up with Alton from Hollywood Casino Hotel & Raceway Bangor to give free gas to a few lucky customers as a way to raise awareness for the Giving Pump campaign that is taking place from now till the end of October.
These pumps aren't purple for decoration, they serve a purpose. During the month of October, R.H. Foster will donate a portion of each sale at a purple pump (the Giving Pump) to the Bangor Region YMCA.
You can find purple pumps at all Freshies locations in Maine. You don't have to do anything extra or special to contribute, just fill up your car at the clearly labeled Giving Pump, and we'll take care of the rest.
Hollywood Casino will be continuing to give out free gas randomly at some of our Freshies stores over the next 6 weeks, so be sure to stop by a Freshies and use the purple pump!
