❤️ A Little Bit About Us ❤️
My name is Sierra Lanae, the daughter of the owners of 6 Klicks Bar & Grill. We thought it was time to share a little bit of the story behind our family owned and operated restaurant.
Our journey started in a tiny kitchen in Ingleside, Texas, where we took a leap of faith and started serving the kind of food we love most: good ol’ homemade, fresh-from-scratch American food with a cajun twist. Then COVID hit, and like so many small businesses, we had no choice but to close our doors.
But we weren’t ready to give up.
Eventually, our family made the move up to San Antonio, and we opened our second location in Helotes, Texas. That little restaurant became such a special chapter in our story. It was put together, loved, and run by my mom, Krista, my Grandma Missy, and my dad, Robert, and then I later moved closer to join them. For about five years, we've poured our hearts into that place, one plate and one customer at a time.
After five years in Helotes, we decided it was time to take another leap and move into a bigger, better location in Bandera, Texas.
And let us tell you… this place has been a LABOR OF LOVE. 😂😅
We’ve remodeled this restaurant ourselves, and just about every day seems to bring us a new obstacle, a new problem to solve, or something else we never saw coming. There have definitely been moments where we’ve looked at each other and thought, “What did we get ourselves into?”
But despite every bump in the road, we keep on trucking because at the end of the day, we genuinely love what we do! We're not even close to being done!
We love cooking. We love feeding people. We love seeing familiar faces walk through the door. We love being part of a community. And most of all, we love being able to do this together as a family.
We may not be a big corporation with a huge team behind the scenes, but we're endlessly grateful for the employees we do have that help make this all possible. We’re a small business, figuring things out as we go, working hard, getting our hands dirty, and putting our hearts into every plate we serve.
From that tiny kitchen in Ingleside… to Helotes… and now here in Bandera.
Thank you to every single person who has supported us along the way. Whether you’ve been with us since Ingleside, found us in Helotes, or just walked through our doors for the first time here in Bandera, you are a part of our story.
We’re still building. We’re still learning. We’re still tackling those daily obstacles one at a time. But we’re here. We’re cooking. We’re serving. And we’re going to keep on keepin on.
Come see us, sit down, and let us serve you some good ol’ American food with a Cajun twist. It does have a kick, but I do my best to tailor to every customers taste buds. We’ve got a little something for everyone!
