We are going into this Memorial Day Weekend with heavy hearts. Our Patriarch, our Faithful leader has passed. Don Gaffney, along with his wife, Catherine, founded Gaffneys BackFin in 1969. Gaffney's has been at it's location now since 1970. Many of you have stories of him as a boss on the boat, or at the shop. Or as a customer... maybe he's prayed for you, as you like to tell me on your visits in. He was a man of God, who loved the water and was on it any chance he could get. We sure will miss you Dad, Hi Pop, Don.......
