“The one thing stronger than hate is love”

Our kitchen is buzzing with flames, flavor, and excitement as we prepare to serve our Muslim community this weekend at the largest Muslim gathering in the nation right here in Baltimore. ICNA, we’re ready for you. 🔥

Today, though, that excitement is shadowed by grief. We are heartbroken over the targeted attack on the Islamic Center of San Diego a house of worship, a school, a community. We honor Amin Abdullah, Mansour Kaziha, and Nader Awad three men who gave their lives protecting others. Their courage is a light no darkness can extinguish.

To our community, we say this:

Pitting communities against each other is the oldest trick in the book a weapon used by those whose only purpose is to divide and conquer. A trick we can no longer afford to fall for.

So huddle up. Check on each other. Love on each other. Lean into your differences you’ll find unimaginable richness in people who don’t look or pray or eat like you.

And to our Muslim family traveling from across the country to be here this weekend you are in for something special. Baltimoreans are the kind of people who will give you their last dollar, feed you before they feed themselves, and still ask if you need seconds. This is a city that has absorbed wave after wave of immigrants, working people, and dreamers and made them all family. Baltimore is rough around the edges and proud of it, but beneath that grit is a warmth so deep and so stubborn that no amount of hardship has ever been able to shake it. You’ll feel it the moment you arrive.

Come hungry. Leave loved. 🫶🏽

A little love from one small business to another💛These kupcakes deserve the spotlight.

A little unexpected moment we loved. We were catering an event and to our surprise was there too. No planning, no coordination, just two small businesses crossing paths again.
It felt extra special because the owners of showed up for Koshary Corner from the very beginning, always making the time to offer advice, kindness, the warmest hugs❤️ and much more.
Some connections just come full circle 🥹
