🍦Continuing my series as your County Councilman on the businesses that make our district feel like home, today I’m featuring a place where many of us have made memories for decades: Friendly's on Belair Road 🍨
Since it opened, this location has been a go-to for everything from post-game celebrations to family Sunday breakfasts. It’s more than just a restaurant; it’s a community partner that consistently steps up for our neighborhood.
Why Friendly's is such a vital community staple:
🍨 They are well-known for their "Spirit Nights" and fundraisers. Just this month, they hosted an event where 10% of saleswent directly to support a local school’s fundraiser.
🐣 From Easter Egg Hunts and Carnival Nights to character breakfasts with Paw Patrol and Elsa, they create magical moments for our youngest residents.
🍔 Whether you’re stopping in for a classic Honey BBQ Chicken SuperMelt or a legendary Fribble, the "heartfelt smiles" from the Perry Hall staff make every visit special.
In a time when many iconic locations have closed, our Perry Hall Friendly's continues to thrive and serve with pride. I encourage you to take a "night off" from cooking this week, grab a booth, and support a team that does so much for our local students and families.
What’s your go-to Friendly's ice cream flavor? Let me know in the comments! 👇
