Who’s this handsome adoptable kitty at The Feline Rescue Association? He says “The name's Short Round. Might sound like a weird one for a cat, but it's because of my tail. You see, I only have half a tail! The humans don't know how it happened - and I'm not going to give up my secret.”
He continues: “Let me tell you a little about my story. I grew up on the streets of Baltimore and one day some new people moved into a house nearby. They were actually pretty cool, so I set up shop on their porch. They gave me a pretty cool outdoor house, always made sure I had food, and I loved every moment of the pets! I just couldn't stop purring!”
“Unfortunately,” he says sadly, “they couldn't bring me inside their home. I was just too friendly to stay outside though, so they made sure to find me this wonderful rescue where I could finally be out of the cold for good! I'm loving the indoor life with an endless supply of cuddles. I may have a short tail, but that doesn't mean I'm short on love!”
Short Round is FIV+, which leads to a weakened immune system. Good news: it doesn't currently affect him and he is virtually 100% safe to live with non-FIV cats. Interested in giving this great guy a home? Contact FRA! (Link in comments)
