Plant based initiative. I am often presented with this dilemma. What to cook? In the morning it is my habit to pull out my existing vegetable inventory and place them out so to refresh my memory so nothing is forgotten. But today I’m facing another CSA delivery and I have these yet to cook. So I’m in asking for suggestions, what would you make out of these? Carrots, turnips, celery root, red beets, purple radishes, sweet potatoes. We are currently looking at a turnup and sweet potato gratin but I’m open for suggestions.

This was the day almost a year ago that one of my older brothers Gary had died. We spent his final weeks saying goodbye over the phone when I could talk, when he could talk.
