Troy, we're back! 🩷

We weren't able to make it last Saturday because of the rain, but we'll be back tomorrow (Saturday) at Troy Farmers Market from 9 AM to 2 PM, and we can't wait to see everyone again.

Every week we tell ourselves, "Let's bring more food this time," but somehow we still end up selling out!

And every week, you make us proud all over again.

Thank you, Upstate New York! 🧿🙏

Tomorrow we're loading up the truck with even more lamb and chicken gyro, falafel, hummus, baklava, stuffed grape leaves, and all your favorites. We're determined to make sure nobody leaves empty-handed!

One little tip from experience though... if you've been craving something all week, don't wait too long. Our regular customers already know that some of our most popular items start disappearing pretty quickly in the afternoon.

And honestly, seeing familiar faces come back week after week makes us incredibly happy, and there's nothing we hate more than having to tell someone, "Sorry, we're sold out."

As most of you know, we've been serving up fresh, homemade Mediterranean food here in Ballston Spa for years now 🩷

And we've finally added something we've been wanting to bring to the menu for a long time...

Lamb Skewers Kebab is officially here! 🔥

Tender, juicy lamb, our house seasoning, and that smoky flavor straight off the grill... honestly, we're pretty excited about this one.

But hey, don't take our word for it. You know how this works around here... you try it and tell us what you think.

A quick little update for everyone because we've been getting a lot of questions lately. 😊

No, we are NOT closing our Ballston Spa location.
Ballston Spa - Saratoga County is our home. 🌸

The new restaurant in Niskayuna/Schenectady will be our SECOND location, not a replacement. Alaturco Gyro Ballston Spa will continue serving the community we've proudly been part of for many years, while we're getting ready to bring Alaturco to a new neighborhood as well.

Now that we got that out of the way... let's talk about these kebabs.🧿

Today the grill is working overtime with our Chicken Skewers Kebab and Lamb Skewers Kebab.

Fresh marinated chicken, tender lamb, vegetables, Mediterranean spices, and that unmistakable aroma coming straight off the grill.

One of the best parts of owning a restaurant is watching people take that first bite and immediately smile. That's when you know the recipe is doing exactly what it's supposed to do.

Some people swear by the Chicken Skewers- Kebab-Turkish. Others won't order anything but the Lamb Skewers Kebab

10 Years at Spa City Farmers Market! 🩷🌸
Some mornings start before the sun comes up.
The alarm goes off way too early. The coffee is brewing while we're loading coolers, tables, tents, and food into the truck. Sometimes it's beautiful sunshine. Sometimes it's cold. Sometimes it's raining. And sometimes we wonder if anyone will even come out.
But for the last 10 years, we've done it anyway.
Because farmers markets are about more than selling food. They're about community, familiar faces, conversations, friendships, and being part of something special.
Today marks our 10th season at Spa City Farmers Market, and we're feeling incredibly grateful. 🧿
Through the cold mornings, rainy days, hot summer afternoons, and everything in between, you have supported our family business and helped us keep going.

First of all… thank you.
Seriously.The amount of love,support messages,comments,shares and excitement we’ve been receiving these last few days has honestly been overwhelming in the best possible way.
The other night after things finally got quiet, me and my husband drove to the old Gershon’s building again just to look at it for a minute.

We stood there outside in silence…then looked at each other and literally asked:“Wait…is this really ours?” “Is this actually happening?”

And honestly, it still doesn’t fully feel real.

Because people see the exciting announcement now… but they don’t always see everything that came before it.

Years ago, before COVID, we had a much bigger place and big dreams already in motion. Then life hit hard like it did for so many small businesses.

There were moments we truly thought maybe our story was over.

We lost a lot during those years. Financially. Emotionally. Mentally.

Then came the small Ballston Spa location. Farmers markets in freezing weather. Long exhausting days.Starting over almost from scratch.Smiling through stress.Trying to keep believing even during the difficult seasons.

And somehow…this community kept carrying us forward.

Little by little.Customer by customer.Comment by comment.One kind word at a time.

Some of y’all have been with us since the early days.Some watched us grow.Some waited in crazy long lines.Some recommended us to friends for years.Some defended and supported us online without even realizing how much that meant to us

So standing in front of Gershon’s the other night honestly felt emotional.Not because it’s a bigger building.Not because it’s“success”

But because for the first time in a long time…it felt like life gave us another chance.

And trust us when we say: we are going to pour our whole heart into this place.

We know how much history that building has in this community, and we truly hope to make everybody proud there.
Thank you for believing in us.Thank you for growing with us. And thank you for making this small family feel so loved here in Upstate New York.

Okay… We Need To Clear This Up
We’ve been getting SO many messages, calls, and questions lately asking if we’re closing our Ballston Spa location or leaving the farmers markets, so we wanted to clear things up for everyone

First of all no, we are NOT closing our Ballston Spa restaurant 😊
And yes, we will absolutely continue being part of the farmers markets that supported us from the very beginning. Those markets are a huge part of our story, and honestly, they feel like family to us now.

As for the new restaurant… we still have some time before opening, and we’re putting our hearts into every detail. This has been a dream of ours for many years, and we want to create something truly beautiful, warm, elegant, and worthy of the incredible customers who have supported us through this journey.

Not just a restaurant… but a place where people feel comfortable, welcomed, and excited to come back to again and again.

None of this happened overnight. It took years of hard work, sacrifices, stress, sleepless nights, and nonstop dedication. And through all of it, this community stood by us. We truly don’t take that love and support for granted.

Ballston Spa is not going anywhere 🩷
The farmers markets are not going anywhere 🌸
We’re simply growing… carefully, and with big dreams.
